Calling all budding writers, this is your chance to showcase your 'alter ego'. I know, that in every person, there is a hidden talent waiting to be unleashed. The talent could be writing, then the wait is over. Grab the nearest pen, tear off a piece of paper and start bubbling your creativity!

You may be wondering what this whole thing is about simply because it is not heard of or talked about before. Well, it is because it is new. Yes, it is new and fresh, like it was never before done. The event is called 'The Chronicler', and i can predict your following question- what is 'The Chronicler'?

More accurately, who is 'The Chronicler'? You. Yes, you!

This time around, the theme for 'The Chronicler' is 'Pen-a-LOL'. In simpler words, the theme is on humour. There will be five categories: drama, lyrics composition, short story, poem, and comic. All writings should be based on the theme. Further viewing of the writing guildelines is in the Rules and Regulations page.

Why should you join?
Apart from discovering your hidden talent, this competition-like-event is a perfect platform to develop your creative writing skills and exercise creativity. You may never know that through this competition, you may one day become a writer. At that time, you may look back on this competition and smile, "I'm glad i had joined." If you think you can't write but have extraordinary stage presentation skills, be a volunteer or represent your friends to be a poem reciter or singer.
